Viewers tuning into Katie Price's new documentary were left feeling emotional as the TV star confessed to feeling suicidal at the time of her drink driving arrest. The 44-year-old opened up about her dark moment in Channel 4's hard-hitting show Katie Price: Trauma and Me - airing last night (Oct 10) to coincide with World Mental Health day.
The former glamour model was arrested in September 2021 for drink driving after flipping her car down a country lane. She told officers after the crash, which happened near to her home in Sussex: "I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all."
The mum-of-seven admitted to drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance at Crawley Magistrates' Court. She was given a 16-week suspended sentence and two-year ban. After her accident, she checked herself in to rehab.

In last night's documentary, she told viewers she attends therapy once a week - which she intends on continuing 'for the rest of her life' - as she battles with anxiety and PTSD.
"I hit a severe depression a couple of years ago," she said. "Depression on top of PTSD, I was suicidal, I didn't want to be here."
Fans flocked to Twitter to send messages of support to the OnlyFans star, with many urging others to 'stop trolling' as they don't know what she's going through.
@Lucy32024680 tweeted: "Seeing all the hate towards Katie Price after she came out about her trauma from being raped makes me sick. People will never ever believe women no matter how hard we try. For some reason they still want the ‘perfect’ victim. And they wonder why women won’t come forward."
@Jacquicotter said: "Watching Katie Price #TraumaAndMe ch4. Really like her. Her programmes about her and eldest son Harvey were inspirational. Now she's being brutally honest about her PTSD. Very inspiring. Wish her well. Her drink driving could have killed others and she has accepted her punishment"
@ChardonnayL_A commented: "Wish I could take your pain away @KatiePrice #traumaandme." @SJCutter_x typed: "There’s no denying Katie Price has never had it easy. So much has happened in her life… #TraumaAndMe."
@LisaGreenwood78 added: "Absolutely loved watching @KatiePrice trauma and me on @Channel4 its something I could relate to , I feel for Katie people need to start being kinder to her she's only human and a vulnerable human at that."
@SueNgwala wrote: "To all those trolling honestly give your heads a wobble and think about the consequence of your words on the subject. You don't need to write anything."
