Katie Price concerns fans with diet video as she reveals she eats just 900 calories a day

Katie Price concerned fans with a weight loss video as she revealed she eats just 900 calories a day.

The former glamour model uploaded a video on TikTok and Instagram as part of her collaboration with the diet brand Skinny Food Co and shared footage of her daily food intake as she showcased different products from the company.

Katie began with Skinny Food Co porridge, before having a quick coffee – flavoured with zero calorie syrup – and a snack in the car, and then filmed herself making a series of low calorie meals, including a ham and cheese baguette for her lunch and a curry for her dinner.

“I’ve used @skinnyfoodco products for many years now as healthier alternative products they’re great for prepping that summer body,!” she captioned the video.

“Here’s what I eat in a day when calorie counting to ensure I’m in a calorie deficit and maintaining a balanced diet,” Katie explained. “Huge thanks to Skinny Food Co for putting so many great products back on the menu.”

At the end of the video, she revealed she had consumed just 993 calories, when the recommended intake for women is 2,000 per day, according to the NHS.

Mum-of-five Katie sparked concern with the video, as fans pointed out she wasn’t consuming enough food, and wasn’t eating any fruit or vegetables.

“993 calories isn't enough for a whole day,” one commented on Instagram.

“Could do with some fresh fruit and veggies too though,” another wrote, as one fan agreed: “She needs some lean meat and vegetables and I see zero fruit."

“This is one of the worst examples of a diet I've ever seen,” another chimed in.

“No vegetables, salad on sandwich or fruit anywhere in sight…,” one wrote, as a follower urged her to eat more nutritious food.

“Please add fruit and veg to your diet. All that processed stuff isn't good for anyone long term,” they pleaded, as another fan agreed.

“Opening up packet food is not a healthy choice. It's not the right way to lose weight, and zero vitamins and minerals,” they wrote.

However, some were impressed with the calorie controlled products, and praised Katie for sharing an insight into her life.

“I need to lose weight. This looks delicious,” one commented, as another posted: “So glad to see u looking so healthy and happy.”
