Katie Price appears to put Peter Andre feud rumours to bed extending 'olive branch' to ex-partner

Katie Price has people speculating if she has put her long-hauling feud with her ex-partner Peter Andre aside after she paid him a sweet compliment whilst also teasing her kids' career plans.

The glamour model, 44, and 50-year-old former pop star were one of the staple showbiz couples back in the 2000s with their turbulent love story gripping people across the nation.

Their five-year relationship dominated headlines and TV screens, with the pair even having their own reality TV stints together before shocking fans with their split, announcing their marriage was on the rocks before separating in 2009.

Katie, who married Peter in 2005, shares son Junior, 17, and daughter Princess, 15, with her ex having also had a huge influence on her son Harvey, who she had with previous partner Dwight Yorke after he took little to do with him.

It has been no secret that the two haven’t gotten on since their divorce, with rumours swirling around for years of an ongoing feud.

But now mum-of-five Katie, who also has son Jett and daughter Bunny from her marriage with Kieran Hayler, has seemed to extend a rare olive branch to Peter during a new interview.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Katie opened up about Peter’s parenting skills, revealing how Junior gets his musical talents from his dad.

“His dad is a singer. So he’s [Junior] following in his footsteps. Junior is a mini-Pete, and Princess is a mini-me. But of course, they have their own identities," Katie said.

The mum-of-five went on to say how Junior is “so different” from his peers, and he “lives and breathes his studio.”

“He’s got Pete’s personality – calm and collected,” Katie quipped.

Junior found musical fame last year after his first single Slide reached the top of the charts within hours of its release as he followed proudly in his dad Peter's footsteps.

The debut was applauded by his fans according to reports in The Star after the teen teased multiple pre-release clips on TikTok, with one racking up six million views, going on to sign a deal with Columbia Records last summer.

In the interview, Katie also addressed her daughter Princess’ career plans, including her venturing out into the world of modelling.

Katie said: “I can absolutely see Princess being a successful model – she’s stunning.

“And I will always be there to support and guide her. I know when agents are taking advantage, so I would always step in if I felt something wasn’t right for her. I’m a protective mother and I make sure my cubs are looked after.”

Princess, who has more than half a million followers on social media, has reportedly been offered a four-figure deal by fast-fashion brand PrettyLittleThing to collaborate online.

It means she will join the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Gemma Owen, who have worked closely with the fashion retailer.

A source told MailOnline earlier this month: "Princess is so excited, she's looked up to her mum for years and has aspired to model for a brand like PrettyLittleThing since she can remember.

"She knows she's still young at 15 but [her dad] Pete is going to oversee her work with PLT to ensure she's protected and well looked after."
