The teenage son of Katie Price and Peter Andre chose to play his first ever gig in the North East.
Junior Andre performed his debut single 'Slide' to a crowd of youngsters at Rainton Arena in Houghton le Spring on Tuesday night. The 17-year-old appeared as a 'special guest' and joined seven other artists at the Shutdown event.
Following the show, his dad posted footage of his performance on his Instagram account. Alongside the video, the Mysterious Girl singer wrote: "So proud of you on your first ever gig son. Let’s go go go @officialjunior_andre So much more to come….."

Junior responded to his dad's post by saying: "Best night ever !!"
Mirror Online reports how the 49-year-old has been promoting Junior's singing career for many months now. Junior topped the UK iTunes chart when his single was released back in June this year.
The video footage shows Junior full of confidence on stage at the Rainton Arena as dancers flipped on stage and pyrotechnics were fired. The crowd sang along and screamed as Junior approached them during the performance.
His famous dad also shared a video posted by a fan who was in the crowd. The fan captioned the video: “Show: Smashed, Eardrums: Burst, Post-show Maccies: Munched".
Junior announced earlier this week that he would be heading to two Shutdown events, which are targeted at people under the age of 18, in Sunderland on Tuesday and Leeds on Friday.
He posted on social media: "So gassed that the Slide (MENTIS Remix) is out now! I’m also going you be heading to Shutdown in Sunderland and Leeds THIS WEEK to party with you guys and perform some songs! Who will I be seeing there? It’s gonna be lit"
Shutdown also posted: "We thought we’d beef up this line up just little more. Introducing your special guest Junior Andre. This will be his first ever proper live show and we’re super excited to be bringing him to Shutdown to show him how crazy you lot are in the North East."
Junior will now head to Royal Armouries Conference and Events in Leeds. His second performance is due to take place between 4pm and 9.30pm on Friday night.
Shutdown is an under 18 brand which was established in Burnley in 2014. The organisation produces indoor, festival style, live music shows. They claim to be the "biggest, most respected U18s brand in the UK from both artists and party goers alike."
