Glamour model Katie Price is set to ignite a parenting stand off with ex husband Peter Andre over daughter Princess's 16th birthday plans.
The teen is set to be in the middle of the two parents "at war" as they each try to outdo the other with a lavish event to mark Princess's birthday at the end of June.
Both parents have revealed grand and expensive celebrations to mark the 16th birthday, with both reportedly seeing the birthday as "a competition" to have the most memorable birthday bash.
Katie Price and Peter Andre share Junior Andre and Peter Andre from their marriage, which ended in 2009.
Dad Peter is thought to be planning a prom inspired party which he'll hold in the grounds of his Surrey mansion with no expense spared as he recruits caterers, DJs and a huge marquee to host the birthday girl and all of her friends.
On the other side, mum Katie is thought to be considering a huge funfair complete with rides and games inspired by the movie 'Grease' which she will hold at her Mucky Mansion.
A source revealed to The Sun : "Katie and Peter are in competition over who can host the most extravagant night to remember for their little girl. It's not every day your eldest daughter turns 16 and both want to mark the occasion in style, so they'll try to outdo one another.
"Given their glitzy careers, if there's one thing Kate and Pete know how to do it is to throw a good party. And ultimately Princess gets to celebrate her birthday twice."
They continued: "Both events are set to be spectacular. Pete is going for a more black-tie affair with a prom theme to coincide with Princess finishing her GCSEs.
"Katie wants a huge fairground extravaganza like the ending in Grease. She's planning a cake embellished in crystals, and guests will wear tiaras like she did on her wedding day. It will be VERY bling!"
The birthday battle comes after son Junior has turned 18 and flown off to Ibiza with his mates for his first holiday without parents. Dad Peter revealed he felt "stressed" and "sick" as his son headed off to the white isle to party and perform at Ibiza Rocks.
