NEW DELHI: American swimmer Katie Ledecky achieved her 20th world swimming title on Tuesday by winning the women's 1,500m freestyle event in Fukuoka, Japan. She completed the race in an impressive time of 15 minutes and 26.27 seconds.
Ledecky secured first place, leaving Italy's Simona Quadarella in second with a time of 15 minutes and 43.31 seconds, followed by China's Li Bingjie in third with a time of 15 minutes and 45.71 seconds.
