A man has been charged with the murder of missing mum Katie Kenyon.
Katie, 33, from Padiham, Lancashire, was last seen at about 9.30am on Friday, April 22, when it is believed she travelled in a Ford Transit van which left Burnley towards the Bolton by Bowland area. She has not been seen since.
Yesterday (April 27), Lancashire Police charged Andrew Burfield, 50, of Todmorden Road, Burnley, with murder. He will appear at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court at 10am today (April 28).

Katie’s family have been made aware and are being supported by officers from Lancashire Police. The family have passed on their thanks for all the well-wishing messages but have asked people respect their privacy at this time.
