THE partner of Scottish mountain biking champion Rab Wardell has paid an emotional tribute to the 37-year-old at his funeral.

Wardell died suddenly on August 24 after suffering a cardiac arrest while lying in bed next to his girlfriend, Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist Katie Archibald.
