Katherine Ryan has shared the moment she accidentally locked herself out of her home while her one-month-old daughter Fenna Grace was still inside. The 39-year-old comedian took to her Instagram Stories to post the home surveillance footage of herself panicking as she realised what had happened.
The Masked Singer star was praised for her calm by fans after she shared the footage, showing her frantically searching her pockets while holding her 19-month-old son Fred. She shared the video with the words: "The time I locked my baby and phone in the house."
Thanking her husband Bobby Koostra, who came to her rescue, she said: "Thank you for another heroic family rescue." Katherine, who was recently unmasked as Pigeon on the ITV singing contest The Masked Singer, then shared a follow-up video to reassure fans that her daughter was safe at the time.

As the mum-of-three cradled her baby girl in her arms, she told her followers that she could see the sleeping baby through the window the entire time. During the video Katherine could be seen looking up at the camera as she said: "I did something really bad."
Her husband also shared the clip with the caption: '"My wife locked the baby in the house to get me home from the golf course immediately." Later Katherine reassured fans: "Sorry for posting yesterday’s dramatic video with no resolution. A lot of people, especially Gen Zs, are like, 'How did he know you needed rescuing? How did he save you if you didn’t have a phone? What did you do?'."
She then referred to her 13-year-old daughter Violet and continued: "We asked Violet after showing her the video, 'What would you do?' She was like 'Throw a brick through the window.'"
On how she eventually got back into the house she said: "I solved it in under 10 minutes because I'm almost 40." And she added about baby Fenna: "By the way, she was sleeping and in a safe place and I could see her through the window."
amb_bodey praised: "Lol. You can see Catherine’s brain ticking to see what to do. She did well to keep so calm." And mamagof exclaimed: "I’m impressed with the calmness!"
erinlibz wrote: "She’s a hero for not losing her absolute s*** on the porch!" autumnamoroso told her: "Sweet Mama! We’ve ALLLLL been there. Bless you and your babies."

Katherine gave birth to her third child on December 16, with Bobby Kootstra announcing the news on Instagram. He typed: "Fenna Grace Kootstra Dec 16, at 12:05am. Mom is incredible! Proving her strength repeatedly through the relatively lengthy delivery at home. We are so blessed:) @kathbum."
