Katherine Ryan hits out at Ryanair for Edinburgh bag mix-up before stay in city

Katherine Ryan hit out at Ryanair after the airline misplaced one of her bags before an Edinburgh gig.

The Canadian-born comedian, actor and presenter was travelling to the capital for a special performance at the Playhouse on Saturday night, May 29, and took to Instagram after one of her bags went missing.

Posting a short and sarcastic message on her story, Katherine said she was "shocked" at how Ryanair lost one of her bags and congratulated them on getting the remaining three to Edinburgh safely.

She said: "Absolutely shocked that Ryanair lost one bag on a short direct trip from Cork to Edinburgh, it should have been more.

"How they managed to get three bags here is both a triumph and a mystery, well done!."

Katherine was taking centre stage in Edinburgh on Saturday evening, performing her brand-new live show, Missus.

The show focuses on her perspective on love, life and what it means to be a Missus, after the comedian previously denounced her relationship status.

Since Ryan's last tour and her two Netflix comedy specials, In Trouble and Glitter Room, she has married her first love.

Unfortunately for her, the trip to the capital didn't get off to a great start and it doesn't appear that she was going to let it go any time soon. No further updates on Katherine's rogue luggage have been posted since Saturday, so they may have been reunited at last.

The 38-year-old has enjoyed a stellar career so far, in more than one industry. She has appeared on various comedy show panels, including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week and Would I Lie to You, as well as appearing on multiple TV series such as Campus, Episodes and her aforementioned Netflix show, The Duchess.
