Comedian Katherine Ryan has taken to her Instagram stories to slam a theme park worker after they refused to allow her two-year-old son Fred on a ride.
Katherine, 39, who is a proud mum-of-three, was enjoying a fun-filled bank holiday with her two eldest children, Violet, 13, and Fred, 2, when the family were faced with a disappointing situation.
After queuing for over 30 minutes, Katherine's son was refused entry on a digger ride because he was too short - although the comedian and actress argued that he was in fact tall enough for the theme park amusement ride.
Taking to her stories, Katherine slammed the theme park worker, as she joked that she had made a 'big mistake' - using a reference to Julia Roberts' iconic comeback line in Pretty Woman.
"Fred wasn't allowed on this ride after queuing for ages," she told. "I don't want to 'big mistake, huge' that girl too much because she was just doing her job and there was health and safety, but, "big mistake, huge."
"He was tall enough. It takes a unique skill-set that I admire to do a job like that. To be able to look at a two-year-old who has just queued for 25 minutes and be like 'no'.
"Even when I was said 'look, he's like definitely tall enough' but she's like 'no'.
"Diggers are the thing he cares about most in the world and he was queuing up because he wanted to go on a ride and drive one, and she just said no".
It comes after Katherine recently hit back at online trolls who spotted that she was drinking wine whilst breastfeeding her newborn daughter Fenna.
The 39-year-old stand-up comic gave birth to her third child, Fenna Grace, in December and has been sharing photos of the little one's first few months.
Among the pictures was a snap of Katherine breastfeeding her newborn while holding a glass of what appeared to be some sort of white wine.
Some social media followers immediately jumped to the conclusion that Katherine was consuming alcohol with her breakfast - a suggestion that absolutely baffled the star.
One person replied: "Enough with the wine drinking whilst still breast feeding," while another jabbed : "Is that a glass of Sauvignon with breakfast?"
Katherine quickly struck back at those who had presumed the worst, as she curtly replied to one commenter: "My small children are smart enough to slowly explain to you why it’s fine.”
