Yes, there has been glamour on the catwalks — but a fair share of best looks and glitziest celebrity sightings have taken place after hours. This London Fashion Week has been a vintage year for party hopping.
Proceedings kicked off on Friday night with ES Magazine who packed out Mayfair’s Mark’s Club for their LFW opening party, hosted with Paco Rabbane.
The new guard — Lennon, Gene and Molly Moorish Gallagher, Lila Moss, Mia Regan and The Flag Twins — proved themselves the life of the party, as Honey Dijon took to the decks and French 75 cocktails proved the drink of choice.
Also there to dance their way into the spring summer 24 season was new Heartstopper star Bel Priestley, Laura Whitmore and, of course, ES Magazine editor Ben Cobb.
Down the road at Bacchanalia, Kate Moss hosted a A-list heavy soirée for her wellness brand Cosmoss; that meant for prime sightings of Jared Leto, Ella Richards and Bella Freud. Also battling for top Friday night spot was Kylie Minogue, who performed at the British Fashion Council’s rammed LFW opener at Lío London, and Suki Waterhouse who hosted a Golden Goose party at Browns.
Saturday night was owned by 10 Magazine, who held a sophisticated party at Claridge’s ArtSpace hotspot with jewellery brand 886 by The Royal Mint. British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, ‘living sculpture’ Daniel Lismore and Vivienne Westwood’s granddaughter Cora Corré all attended — but the woman of the hour was, undoubtedly, supermodel Cindy Crawford.
The Wonderland Magazine party at The Standard Hotel attracted Skepta, who was still on his high from the success of his brand MAINS’ catwalk debut, while Monday night was reserved for Perfect Magazine’s LFW closing bash, complete with many Valentino looks, Kylie Minogue and Naomi Campbell. Also there for one final hurrah before the planes leave for Milan were models Adwoa Aboah and Ashley Graham, and a younger set including Lila Moss, Cruz Beckham and Ivy Getty.
