When Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on stage for their first joint engagement, royal fans couldn't wait to see they had planned.
Quickly dubbed The Fab Four, the four looked in good spirits when they sat down to talk about Heads Together, a mental health organisation.
However a new book claims that Meghan's incredible public speaking ability left Kate and William feeling irritated.
Journalist Tina Brown's hotly anticipated book The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor, the Truth and the Turmoil hits shelves next week, featuring information from more than 120 sources and insiders.
One of Brown's most eye-opening revelations relates to the Cambridges and the Sussexes behaviour at the event, saying that things didn't go smoothly behind the scenes.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry previously set up the mental health organisation Heads Together in 2016 and later expanded their work by launching the hotline Shout when Meghan joined The Firm.
It quickly became apparent that Meghan was the perfect fit as she could use her excellent public speaking skills to get the vital message across clearly, reports the Daily Mail.
In her book Brown writes: "Harry looked on with awe and his brother and Kate stood by with expressionless irritation. When it was Kate’s moment to speak, she was strikingly less articulate, as well as brief."
Further claims about Harry and Meghan in Brown's book include a row that took place ahead of their 2018 wedding with The Queen's dresser and closest aide, Angela Kelly.
According to Brown, the argument started because Meghan didn't "perceive the difference between the Queen’s personal aide and a contract stylist at NBC Universal".
There have been numerous reports of a row over Meghan's wedding day tiara, with Harry reportedly saying "what Meghan wants, Meghan gets" after she was refused permission to wear her first choice.
A source told Brown there was "lots of raging" in the lead up to their wedding and that Meghan would shout in front of staff. The author added that she was told that Meghan and Harry share a mutual addiction to drama.
