A job advert has been placed to find a personal assistant working for someone working for the Duchess of Cambridge.
More than 200 people have already applied for the vacancy after the ad was placed on LinkedIn earlier this week.
The advert for the position of personal assistant to Kate's assistant private secretary was listed on the professional social networking website three days ago by The Household of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
A summary of the role says: "This is an exciting opportunity to join our PA team in support of the Assistant Private Secretary to HRH The Duchess of Cambridge. This role will provide wide-ranging administrative and operational support to the Assistant Private Secretary."
Responsibilities of the job include managing the secretary's diary, arranging meetings and monitoring correspondence. Other tasks include offering support for royal visits and events, organising travel arrangements and taking minutes at meetings.
The successful candidate will require previous secretarial and administrative experience, excellent IT, organisational communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and meeting strict deadlines.
Also listed under the job's candidate criteria are the "ability to exercise tact and discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times" and "knowledge of the diversity of communities in the United Kingdom, in the Commonwealth and worldwide".
The permanent full-time job, based at Kensington Palace, involves 37.5 hours of work per week and has a salary of £27,500-a-year.
