Kate Lawler's London Marathon experience didn't get off to the best of starts when her running partner forgot to bring her trainers.

The mum-of-one, 42, took to Instagram this morning asking her followers if anyone could help her pal out.

Sharing a pic of herself, open-mouthed, Kate said: "Guys, my running partner can't find her running trainers. NO JOKE. Does anyone have any worn trainers size 8 they can lend her? We need to get them to Blackheath."
