Kate Hudson has come to the conclusion that some of the best advice she has ever been given was to swear off dating for a year.

The 45-year-old actress, who released her debut album last year, was famously married to Chris Robinson from 2000 to 2007. She is currently engaged to guitarist Danny Fujikawa.
