Kate Garraway to host new Saturday show Garraway’s Good Stuff in ITV schedule shake-up

Kate Garraway will front a new ITV weekend show in a schedule shake-up this spring.

The Good Morning Britain presenter will host Garraway’s Good Stuff, a new lifestyle magazine show for Saturday mornings.

The series will see the 54-year-old joined by friends and celebrities as she “starts the weekend in style”.

Kate and her guests will give viewers the “best start to their weekend”, ITV bosses say, with topics including the latest health and wellbeing tips as well as what to cook for your Saturday night TV dinner.

The shake-up is part of a new ITV weekend schedule to take the broadcaster into the summer, with famous faces hosting four brand new series for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Produced by Cactus TV and commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe and Leanne Clarke for ITV Entertainment, the new series will include lifestyle magazine show Garraway’s Good Stuff for Saturdays as well as Big Zuu's Breakfast Show for Sundays.

There will be three new shows for Sunday mornings throughout the summer - kicking off in the slot is Big Zuu's Breakfast Show, hosted by chef and musician Big Zuu and promising guests, food and unmissable entertainment.

Big Zuu will then hand over to Vick Hope for episodes of her own Sunday morning show, followed by Katie Piper who will host her own instalment - each have their own brand of topical chat and exciting guests to ease viewers into their Sundays.

Head of ITV Entertainment, Katie Rawcliffe said: “I’m delighted we can bring this brilliant line-up of presenters to our weekend mornings starting this Spring. The shows will offer the perfect mix of entertainment, chat and food to get our viewers ready for their Saturday and Sundays ahead.”

CEO of Cactus TV, Amanda Ross, Executive Producer of all four shows said: “These four very different hosts guarantee us all an exciting summer of variety on ITV weekend mornings. We couldn’t be more delighted!”

This comes after Kate Garraway hit TV screens earlier this week alongside husband Derek Draper as she transformed their family garden in the Love Your Garden documentary.

The Good Morning Britain host documented the work she had been doing in her garden to help her family's wellbeing, after Derek was left with serious health issues following his battle with Covid-19.

The 54-year-old referred to the Love Your Garden programme during Thursday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, joking to co-hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid that she realises there’s “a lot of Garraway around at the moment”, fresh off the broadcast of her Caring for Derek documentary.
