Martin Lewis appeared alongside Kate Garraway on Wednesday's instalment of Good Morning Britain, and viewers accused the pair of having a "shouting match".
The Money Saving Expert founder has become a regular on the daytime programme, as he offers his best financial advice amid the cost of living crisis. The finance guru joined Kate, who usually hosts the show on Thursdays and Fridays, but has stepped in to cover Susanna Reid's slots over the Christmas period.
Martin and Kate discussed the union strikes and inflation as they were joined by different guests. But things appeared to get heated throughout the programme as the pair had several moments of talking over one another, the MEN reports.

One segment saw the hosts joined by Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce, and the presenters seemed to enter a "shouting match". Whilst discussing the upcoming nurses strike, with the first strike date in place for Thursday (December 15) Kate and Martin appeared to battle for their say.
Martin said: "It is not an independent review body that starts from an open premise that says 'how much should nurses get if we are looking on a basis of equity or fairness, it is an independent pay process based on how much the government can spend, the impact on inflation and what nurses pay should be.
"You have to look at the terms of reference, so it is an independent decision based on reference period that is set by the government."
But before he finished his explanation, Kate cut in to add: "I think it starts with a letter from the government that says please look at pay and as I understand it, it says this is what we can afford" while Martin continued to try and chip back in.
This wasn't the only time that the presenters seemed to fight for the last word, as in the same segment, Kate appeared agitated as she jumped in and said: "Sorry Martin but I haven't even got to the point yet," as they continued to speak over each other.
Viewers were quick to point out the issue as they took to Twitter to raise complaints and referred to it as a "shouting match". Mary said: "Please will Kate and Martin stop talking over each other, it is so annoying. Both want to be heard".
Tania said: "Kate and Martin is a shouting match disaster. stop talking over each other", while Sharon said: "Why doesn’t Kate let Martin speak! He’s the expert and explains things a lot better."
