Kate Ferdinand has said she came across "a bit crazy" and "cried a lot" when she was on the Only Way is Essex.
The former reality TV star, 31, spoke out about the demise of her long-term relationship with Dan Edgar, which was documented on the reality show.
Kate revealed her step-children Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13 and 11-year-old Tia tease her over her stint in the ITVBe show having watched old episodes back.
During an appearance on the Vicky Pattison: The Secret To podcast, Kate looked back at her time on the show from 2015 until 2017 as her six year on-off romance with Dan caused her anguish.
Kate - who is married to former footballer Rio Ferdinand, 44 - said whilst it was a "great experience," she had "struggled" with working in the reality TV industry.
Discussing the popular ITV show, Kate commented: "At that time, I was going through a break-up. I was highly stressed. I cried a lot and I came across a bit crazy on there."
Geordie Shore alum Vicky, 35, - who described herself as an "avid TOWIE watcher" - disagreed though, saying she only has good things to say about Kate on TOWIE.

Kate described taking part as one of her "best decisions". She said it was a "great experience" and "opened so many avenues," but she's "pleased" to no longer do reality TV.
She said: "As much as it was a great experience [...] it didn't show the full side of me." She later added: "I don't feel like it represented me and I felt like I struggled with that."
Kate said she's "so pleased" to no longer be doing reality TV, saying that she feels "really content" with her life at the moment. She added: "I'm just more relaxed in life now".
She admitted she does occasionally watch episodes from her stint on the show though. Kate - who runs her own podcast called Blended - said her family tease her over it.
"The kids are proper wind ups! They'll say 'I'm watching the best thing on YouTube' and I'll come in and they've got an old episode of me on and it's me crying or something!'
"When they do this to me - it's not the way I talk, the way I hold myself - everything about me is different. It's like a different person and they find it hilarious!"
Vicky Pattison: The Secret To is available to listen to on Acast and all major podcast platforms. New episodes are released every Thursday.
