Kate Beckinsale has shared a snap of herself teary eyed in a post that reveals that her mother has been hospitalised.

The actress took to Instagram to share a string of photos of herself and mother, Judy, including one with her mum in a hospital bed and a quote from the poet WB Yeats, reading: “My heart is broken, yet must understand”.
