The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have wished Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday as she turns 41.

William and Kate posted the birthday wishes to Twitter alongside a photo of the Duchess.

It’s unclear how the Duchess plans to celebrate her special day, but it will no doubt involve her husband Harry, son Archie, 3, and daughter Lillibet, 1.

Last year, to mark turning 40, Meghan posted a video online calling for 40 women to dedicate 40 minutes of their time to mentor women returning to the workforce.

It has been a whirlwind year for the Duchess, including her first return to the UK since 2020, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

During her stay in England the family celebrated Lillibet turning 1.

The couple had attended Trooping the Colour and a thanksgiving service for the Queen but their return to the UK was kept relatively low-key.

Following the US Supreme Court ruling that rolled back nationwide abortion rights, Meghan called for men to “be more vocal” over the issue.

In her most recent public appearance, Meghan supported Harry as he gave a speech marking Nelson Mandela International Day at the UN General Assembly in New York.

Meghan, Harry and their two children now live in Santa Barbara. The couple resigned as senior members of the Royal family in 2020.
