ANAHEIM, Calif. — After producers announced that it would return to Los Angeles for the first time in a decade earlier this year, Hard Events has finally revealed the lineup for the 15th anniversary of the two-day Hard Summer Music Festival happening Aug. 5-6.
The massive affair will include performances by Kid Cudi, Skrillex b2b Four Tet, 21 Savage, Dillon Francis, Ludacris, Oliver Tree, Fat Joe, Black Coffee, Diplo b2b Blond:ish, Kayzo, Diesel, Kaskade b2b John Summit, Emo Nite and a Jungle DJ set.
The inaugural Hard Summer took place in 2008 at the Shrine Exposition Hall and since then it has relocated to several venues throughout Southern California including Los Angeles Historic State Park, Fairplex Pomona, Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino and more recently the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino.
The 2023 edition will take over Exposition Park, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and BMO Stadium (formerly Banc of California Stadium) with a slew of big-name headliners as well as acts like Gorgon City, Hayden James, Mija, Oliver Tree, Peekaboo, Boys Noize, Kitty Cash, Loco Dice, Wuki, Yellow Claw b2b Flosstradamus, Azzecca, Ben Sterling and dozens more.
Hard Summer passes go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Two-day general admission tickets start at $229; VIP two-day tickets start at $409. Fans can also put down deposits on tickets starting at $19.95. For more information on the festival and tickets, go to hardsummer.com.
Hard Summer has long established itself as a multigenre event that explores various forms of electronic music including house and trance music, while also welcoming hip-hop artists, electro-pop stars and this year it’s bringing in the Los Angeles-based Emo Night, which will mix emo and punk rock music into the party.
