Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the FBI, has been informed by the bureau that he was targeted in an Iranian hack, according to sources familiar with the matter. The hackers are believed to have gained access to some of Patel’s communications, raising concerns about potential security breaches.
Trump Transition spokesman Alex Pfeiffer refrained from providing specific details about the hack but emphasized Patel's role in the previous administration's efforts against the Iranian regime. Pfeiffer stated that Patel would continue to uphold President Trump's policies aimed at safeguarding America from its adversaries in his potential role as FBI Director.
