A private airplane carrying a well-known singer made an emergency landing at a Los Angeles airport on Thursday evening. The aircraft, which was carrying the Grammy winner and several others, landed at Van Nuys Airport around 9 p.m. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of injuries, according to a news report by KABC-TV.
The plane had departed from Hollywood Burbank Airport with a total of 16 people on board. However, during the flight towards the east, the pilot detected smoke in the cockpit, prompting the decision to turn the aircraft around. The exact cause of the malfunction that led to the emergency landing has not been determined at this time.
