The 2026 Latin Grammys nominations reveal more than a list of contenders. They mark a shift in the balance of Latin music, with women securing an unusually strong presence in the most prestigious categories, Mexico and South America dominating geographically, and many of urban music's biggest stars pushed out of the main races.

Songwriter and producer Édgar Barrera leads the 27th annual Latin Grammy Awards with 10 nominations, including Producer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. The Texas-born musician of Mexican heritage is recognized for work with Karol G, Carín León, Grupo Frontera, Xavi, Becky G and Santana.
