Karnataka to track doctors’ night-time attendance through geofencing app from November 1

Bengaluru: Aimed at making headquarters residency mandatory for its officials, the Karnataka government has introduced a geofencing-based night-time attendance system through the 'Kartavya' mobile application to ensure prompt public service.

The policy is designed to ensure that government officials and employees remain accessible in their jurisdiction to enable timely service delivery and smooth execution of development projects.
