MANGALURU: A Class X student from St Mary’s English Medium High School, Laila, in Belthangady, arrived at the examination hall on a stretcher. She had fallen from a two-wheeler on Tuesday, while arriving to the school.
Belthangady BEO H S Virupakshappa told TOI that the girl met with an accident while arriving on a two-wheeler, along with her parent, to answer the science paper. A doctor examined her, and since she was keen on writing the exam, she was allowed to do so. The moment she arrived in an ambulance, the school authorities were quick to make necessary arrangements for her to write the exam, and also arranged for a scribe.
