BENGALURU: Karnataka’s energy success story appears to be moving from strength to strength with the state earning a record Rs 2,836 crore from sale of power in the 2021-22 fiscal.
What is more, over the past 25 days alone, Karnataka pocketed a staggering Rs 800 crore from sale of surplus energy and – if the current trend persists – it is likely to rake in the cash over the next 10 months and earn more than it did in the last fiscal.
