Karnataka: Despite surge in Covid infections, only 5% hospital beds occupied

Covid-19 Karnataka Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Occupancy of Covid-19 hospital beds in Karnataka jumped from 3% on Monday to 5. 3% on Tuesday, a day when more than 41,000 cases were re ported across the state.

While 2,548 hospital beds were occupied on Monday, on Tuesday, the number rose to 4,795, state health and family welfare depart ment data showed.
