Karnataka: BJP worker hacked to death

Bharatiya Janata Party Dakshina Kannada Police

MANGALURU: A BJP worker was hacked to death in Bellare police station limits in Dakshina Kannada on Tuesday. The deceased is Praveen Nettaru,32. He was assaulted by a group of miscreants who arrived on motorbikes in front of his shop, around 9 pm.

He was a district member of the BJP’s Yuva Morcha, and active in social and political circles, said BJP district president Sudarshan Moodbidri. Meanwhile, the Dakshina Kannada district police is in the process of registering a case. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
