Karnataka, Bengaluru weather update: Bangalore to receive rain, thunderstorms till May 25; IMD warns of intense showers across state

Bengaluru is likely to receive intense rainfall till May 25, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its latest weather bulletin, issuing a yellow alert for the city. Karnataka is also expected to witness showers, thunderstorms and warm weather conditions on May 24 as pre-monsoon activity continues across several regions, reports AsiaNet. Multiple districts in the state may experience cloudy skies along with light to moderate showers during different parts of the day, the IMD's forecast read.
