Karnataka: 85.6% clear SSLC exam, 145 get 100%

BENGALURU: The SSLC examination results announced by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board on Thursday threw up a surprise: A whopping 145 students scored 100% (625/625 marks).

This is a massive jump compared to previous years (barring 2021 when all students were promoted due to the pandemic and 158 students scored 100% in the multiple-choice format). In 2020, only 11 students had scored 625/625 marks.
