Karnal mandis received 560 quintals of wheat, but no procurement due to high moisture

KARNAL: The Haryana government has officially started wheat procurement on Saturday, but not even a single grain of wheat was procured in the grain markets of Karnal district due to the high moisture content.

As per the information, as many as 9 farmers brought a total of around 560 quintals in the various grain markets of the district, but it could not be produced due to the higher moisture content.
