Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema has made a surprising return to the club after a stint in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad. The French striker, who enjoyed immense success during his 14-year tenure at the Bernabeu, including five Champions League titles and a Ballon d'Or award, was expected to renew his contract in 2023 before his unexpected departure.

Reports emerged of Benzema going missing earlier this year, but he continued to play in the Saudi Pro League season. However, recent developments indicate that he has returned to Real Madrid's training ground, Valdebebas, for further tests and injury treatment.
