Liverpool have potentially been handed a boost ahead of their Champions League last-16 second leg match with Real Madrid as Karim Benzema has emerged as possible fitness doubt.
The Frenchman did not take part in full training with Madrid on Wednesday along with defender Antonio Rudiger and Mariano Diaz. Real take on Liverpool at the Santiago Bernabeu next Wednesday.
Injured defensive duo David Alaba and Ferland Mendy were working individually at Valdebabas as they both continue their recovery from fitness issues.

Benzema scored twice in the first leg 5-2 win for Madrid as Liverpool need a minor miracle to progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League next Wednesday in the Spanish capital.
Spanish journalist Melchor Ruiz broke the news that Carlo Ancelotti's captain did not train and may now be a fitness doubt for the visit of Liverpool.
