Karim Benzema has issued a fresh transfer plea to Kylian Mbappe by claiming Real Madrid "would score double the goals" if they signed the Paris Saint-Germain star.
Mbappe is yet to decide his future, with his contract in the French capital expiring in June and Los Blancos boasting the tag of heavy favourites to snap him up during the summer transfer window. While the Santiago Bernabeu head honchos work on the finances of the potential mega-deal, Benzema and his teammates have been busy courting the 22-year-old in the hope of convincing him to move to Madrid.
The striker, who plays alongside Mbappe for France, has once again attempted to ruffle PSG's feathers by telling L'Equipe : "With Mbappe, we get on well because we know what the other is going to do. For example, we both like to go left but we will never both be there at the same time: the other will come inside, or drop deeper.
