The entire sports fraternity is mourning the loss of football legend Pele who passed away on December 29 after a long battle with cancer. He was 82.
Bollywood celebrities, who are one of the ardent fans of football, took to their social media handles to mourn his loss and send prayers to his family.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Abhishek Bachchan, AR Rahman and many others paid their respect to the legend through social media posts.

In a statement on Twitter, his family said, “Inspiration, love marked the journey of King Pelé, who peacefully passed away today. Love, love and love, forever.” According to a statement the hospital issued upon his passing. It was reportedly a "multiple organ failure" that led to the death.
Among those who grieved the passing from the sports fraternity were Lionel Messi, Neymar, Didier Deschamps, and Cesar Luis Menotti.
