The Kardashians fans have been left puzzled as the Hulu show glossed over a crucial moment Kim Kardashian was surprised with a gift from Pete Davidson.
The beauty mogul gave fans a tour of her new custom private plane before taking off on her maiden voyage in the latest episode of the Disney+ reality series.
The 41-year-old mum-of-four took a group of friends on her luxurious jet for the first time while heading to the Dominican Republic for her Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover shoot.
At one point before take-off, her SNL beau called and she gave him a tour of the plane via FaceTime in which she honed in on the two beds in the back of the plane that can be converted into a single king bed, as Pete was heard saying, “Whoa”.
Kim told Pete that having her own plane was “such a moment” before asking him what he was up to.
“I just woke up. I’m gonna work out,” Pete said, as Kim blew him a kiss with a huge smile.
After hanging up the call as the flight took off, one of the flight attendants approached Kim with “a special surprise that was brought from Pete for you, for the plane.”
But as the gift was laid on the table, the camera panned away to one of the oval jet windows and Kardashians fans were not shown what the surprise was.
“Oh my God! Shut up! These are my favourite,” Kim was heard saying, as the episode came to an end.
The Kardashians fans were left frustrated at the omission, with one begging on Twitter : “WHAT WAS THE GIFT KIMBERLY!?”
Others similarly demanded to know: “But what was the gift though?”
Another fellow fan asked: “What was the surprise that Pete got Kim, can she just give us a glimpse.”
One suspicious fan guessed: “How much do you want to bet Pete sent edibles?”
Another asked: “Wait what surprise did Pete get Kim for the new jet?”
Kim was first spotted publicly on her private jet in late February, when she was seen arriving in Los Angeles from Milan.
The plane is a Gulfstream G65OER, which has a base price of $95 million, though TMZ confirmed that Kardashian had the jet built from scratch to her bespoke specifications.
Ahead of the plane’s take-off, Kim told the Hulu cameras: “I feel like I'm in a really good place. It all started when I did this solo Balenciaga campaign and then my Vogue cover and now Sports Illustrated. It's so cool. It's such a moment.
“It just feels like I'm embarking on a new journey. This is the year about me and to do what I want and what makes me happy. It almost feels like a dream come true.”
