Television actor couple Karan V Grover and Poppy Jabbal, who had been dating for over a decade now, are finally married! The adorable duo tied the knot on 31 May, in the presence of their family and friends, in an intimate gathering, in the hills of Himachal Pradesh.
Taking to his Instagram account, Grover shared his first wedding picture, writing, “MayDay‼️ MayDay ‼️ We finally did it💕31•05•2022” Soon, Jabbal also shared an identical picture.
In the dreamy picture, Grover and Jabbal can be seen in colour-coordinating off-white wedding ensembles, with Grover sporting a pink turban and Jabbal pairing her lehenga with traditional precious as well as floral jewellery.
Close friend Shama Sikander, who was also an attendee, also took to her Instagram to share some exclusive pictures, by writing, “Lakh Lakh Wadhaiyyan mere Doston… @karanvgrover @poppyjabbal 😇😇😇🤗♥️♥️ "
Sikander, who attended the wedding along with her husband James Milliron, spoke happily to ETimes about the newlyweds by saying, “Honestly, it feels unreal, as all of us had given up (laughs!). Karan and Poppy have been dating for many years and we would often wonder when they planned to get married. They sprung the surprise on us over a video call, as Karan was in London back then and Poppy in Mumbai. That’s how we were invited.”
In the wedding pictures shared by Sikander, actor Sonnalli Seygall can also be seen, who is a close friend of the TV couple.
Sikander also added, “We are just so happy that it has finally happened. I guess it does influence you in some way when your close friends are getting married and you see so much love around. All of us need to witness it unfold and when we see it ourselves, we, too, want it in life. All of us deserve the happiness.”
