Director Vasan Bala's recent comments about Karan Johar passing on his 'Jigra' script to Alia Bhatt 'without his consent', sparked a wave of backlash against the producer and reignited discussions around nepotism and favouritism in Bollywood.
On Sunday, Johar finally addressed the controversy, urging people not to jump to conclusions based on "clickbait assumptions". Taking to his Instagram handle, shared a quote which reads, “We have to be strong enough to ensure our life is stable enough to shut some negative people’s mouths." He posted the picture with a caption that read, "Twitter became X and became my X a while ago… I broke up with the nauseous noise and muted the unwarranted angst… but social media is like the Loch Ness monster—it gets to you even when you can’t see it."
