Kanye West is reportedly spreading rumours about estranged wife Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The rapper, 44, who split from mother-of-four Kim last year, is allegedly telling people that Suicide Squad actor Pete "has got AIDS" - with sources claiming the rumour is "nonsense".
According to TMZ, sources close to Pete heard the false rumour after controversial DJ Akademiks made the claim during a Twitch livestream.
Pete's sources confirmed to the news outlet that Kanye - who legally changed his name to Ye - has been spreading it.
A source told the publication: "Kanye's been telling everybody within earshot."
Kanye's bizarre claim appears to have caused friction between him and Pete, with TMZ reporting there has been a "few awkward phone calls" between the pair and mutual friends they have - who are said to be "confused" by his "childish behaviour".
Sources add they are "disturbed" by the fact Kanye is allegedly spreading rumours about "such a serious health issue to try and lash out at Pete".
They also shared Kanye's "brutal diss track" where he raps: "God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson's ass" did not come as a surprise to Pete's friends.
Mirror has approached a representative for Kanye West for comment.
Kim has moved on from her relationship with Kanye and appears to be living her best, care-free life with new man Pete.
However Kanye has made it public knowledge he wants her back.
In December, he begged for the reality star to "run back to me" during a performance.
Instead of saying “Runaway from me baby”, Kanye sang: “I need you to run right back to me.”
The rapper then added: “More specifically Kimberly” in a direct appeal to win his estranged wife back.
Kim filed for divorce in February last year following six years of marriage.
Kanye admitted to cheating with groupies while he was on his Saint Pablo Tour in 2016.
The pair finally went their separate ways last year after it was reported they'd been living apart for months.
Kim was filmed breaking down in tears in Keeping Up With the Kardashians as she she opened up about her crumbling marriage and told Kris Jenner she wanted more from life.
Despite the high profile break-up, Kim and Kanye have continued to remain amicable – with the Skims mogul even publicly supporting the release of Kanye's latest album Donda.
