Kanye West music banned from Peloton as yet another company drops the disgraced star

Kanye West 's deals are continuing to fall by the wayside with Peloton the latest to cut ties with the rapper following his anti-Semitic comments.

The 45-year-old rapper, now legally known as Ye, caused outrage with his comments he would go "Death Con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE."

He followed his remarks up by launching an anti-Semitic attack on the "Jewish media" and making disturbing claims about the death of George Floyd.

And now popular fitness company Peloton have joined other huge companies such as Adidas, Balenciaga, Foot Locker and Gap Inc. in distancing themselves from the musician.

In a statement they revealed they have "indefinitely paused" using any of his songs on the platform. It read: "We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton indefinitely paused the use of Kanye West’s music on our platform.

"This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes and we are not suggesting any class that includes his music in our proactive recommendations to Members.

"You should know this was a decision we made immediately following his remarks. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a Member of our Peloton community."

Also on Wednesday, it's reported Ye had to be escorted from the headquarters of Skechers after turning up unannounced.

As he looked to pitch his Yeezy brand to the company, it is said two "executives" gave him his marching orders. The company also released a statement in the aftermath, saying: "Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorised filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation. Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West."

It continued: "We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. The Company would like to again stress that West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices."

It's been a bad week business-wise for Ye following his outburst. Not only have so many big-name brands pulled any links with him, Madame Tussauds also removed a waxwork of the singer from their premises in London.

"Ye’s figure has been retired from the attraction floor to our archive," said a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds.

During all the fallout, Ye has found himself dropping off the Forbes billionaires' list. Earlier this year, he was ranked number 1513 on the list after being valued at $2billion (£1.5billion) due to his lucrative fashion brands and a multi-year deal to design his trainer brand Yeezy for Adidas.

However, following the scrapping of contracts by Adidas, Forbes estimated his value to be $400million (£349million) – stemming from "real estate, cash, his music catalogue, and a 5% stake in ex-wife Kim Kardashian ’s shapewear firm, Skims".
