Kanye West ignores ongoing controversy amid claims ex-wife is 'refusing contact'

Kanye West was spotted enjoying an ice cream in Calabasas, California, giving the impression he's not overly concerned about his recent Twitter ban due to anti-Semitic comments, the ongoing controversy around his White Lives Matter t-shirts and reports that ex Kim Kardashian is refusing contact with him.

The 45-year-old rapper stopped to get a cool treat on Friday on his way to his warehouse.

Opting for black jeans, rain boots and a long sleeved white tee that featured a print across the front, Kanye seemed comfortable as he indulged himself.

The fashion designer has found himself at the centre of massive amounts of controversy recently, with his debut at Paris Fashion Week sparking off questions from his fans and peers alike.

During his first show at the prestigious fashion event, models wore clothing emblazoned with 'White Lives Matter' on them.

Kanye brought on a number of models for the show, including Selah Marley, the granddaughter of Bob Marley and daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley. Jaden Smith chose to walk out of the controversial show.

This statement was one of the many ways Kanye has chosen to distance himself from mainstream black politics. Kanye wore one of the shirts again at his daughter's basketball game.

The slogan that Kanye chose to endorse on his shirts has previously been used by white supremacist organisations and the Klu Klux Klan, it's widely recognised as an attack against the Black Lives Matter movement.

Kanye didn't stop there with him taking to Twitter with anti-Semitic views, Kanye then claimed he was exempt from being anti-Semitic due to his race.

This was sparked when the rapper shared a series of texts between himself and Sean 'Diddy' Combs, where Combs attempted to dissuade his friend from supporting the WLM movement.

Kanye claimed that his friend's attitude was a result of him being controlled by Jewish people.

Kanye doubled down in a now-deleted Tweet, writing: "I'm a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE."

He continued: "The funny thing is I actually can't be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda."

It has been reported that Kanye's ex, and mother of his four children, Kim Kardashian has not had direct contact with Kanye in weeks.

Reports claim that although in the past, even when Kim was the subject of his attacks, Kim has always stepped in to help Kanye in the past when he has went through struggles with his mental health this time is different.

Sources claim that Kim has completely removed herself from her ex and hasn't spoken to him directly in weeks.
