To manage the increasing flow of pilgrims, authorities have implemented special traffic diversions and restrictions aimed at ensuring smooth movement and reducing congestion on major roads.
Traffic Advisory For Heavy Vehicles
Gurugram Police has issued a special traffic advisory for heavy vehicles from August 9 to August 11. These measures are intended to ease traffic pressure and maintain safe passage for Kanwar pilgrims travelling through the city.
Heavy vehicles moving from Delhi towards Rajasthan, Jhajjar, Rewari, Pataudi, Nuh, and Faridabad via Gurugram have been advised to avoid key routes during this period.

Drivers of heavy vehicles have been directed to use alternative routes such as:
Dwarka Expressway
Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway
These routes are expected to help divert traffic away from congested areas and ensure uninterrupted movement for pilgrims.
