Jake Paul will hand one lucky social media follower $10,000 after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl.
The YouTube star has become a big name in the sporting world having raised his profile with a successful start to his career in the boxing ring. Sunday night saw the NFL's Super Bowl showpiece taking place between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, in a sport in which Paul has regular involvement alongside his micro-betting agency BETR.
Superstar quarter-back Patrick Mahomes spearheaded his Chief' side as they rallied to a narrow 38-35 win over the Eagles to pick up their third Super Bowl title and their second since he signed with the franchise. Although it was compelling achievement for Mahomes and his teammates, Paul was left significantly out of pocket despite supporting the Chiefs in the match.
He tweeted before the match: "Okay fine… if Chiefs win the Super Bowl I’m giving one person $10,000 who likes and retweets this Tweet. Must be following me and BETR so we can DM you if you win. GO." The final score saw the Chiefs victorious and Paul issued an immediate response online.
He tweeted: "Boom! Keep liking and retweeting. $10K winner to be announced this week. Follow BETR to win." Paul has notoriously lost a lot of money on the sport, including at the start of the season when he forked out $250,000 in a bet on the first play of the season between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams to be running.
Having made a success of himself in the boxing ring, Paul has made it explicitly obvious that he would be open to competing in the NFL, and has previously spent time with outfit the Cleveland Browns in training. The influencer has suggested he would also like to compete in NASCAR as he looks to takeover as many sports as possible before the end of his career.

"I might mess around with [MMA]. I was practising my leg kicks the other day for the first time, and it was fun. I’ve got some big beefy legs. so I might go into MMA," Paul told ESPN. "People forget I was an all-state wrestler in Ohio. Obviously, I already have the boxing skills, so I’m gonna go 10-0, maybe 12-0 as a boxer and then I’m either gonna go to MMA or to the NFL.
"Maybe NASCAR. I’ve got a lot of options. I’m gonna go with the flow I’m gonna try and do both [NFL and Nascar] at the same time, 100 per cent. "My dream is to be like Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights . That’s my goal."
