Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed has warned Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill that the reigning Super Bowl winners will respond to his offseason trash talk when they finally face each on the field this season.
Hill, 29, spent six seasons with the Chiefs, where he became a Super Bowl champion, before being traded to the Dolphins last offseason. The two teams have not met since then but will during the upcoming campaign after their match-up was revealed as one of two games to be played in Germany as part if the 2023 International Series.
Even more intriguingly, Kansas City are the home team, meaning the matchup will be the first return for Hill since the Miami trade went down. The Georgia native is already warning his former team about what to expect on game day.
"Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do?" Hill said, speaking to his former teammates Gehrig Dieter and Anthony Sherman on FanNation earlier in the off-season and before Wednesday's announcement.
"I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y'all. I hate to do it! But guess what? I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day. I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day."
Sneed, another of his old Kansas City teammates, has heard these comments and admits that the team will show him what they think of them on the field. "Tyreek been talking a lot of trash, himself, this year," the Chiefs cornerback told NFL Total Access.

"He talking about coming back to the Arrowhead. We going to show him, though, when he get there." Sneed continued: "I don't really get into it, but I take notes on what he said. I see it. I been on the internet, and I see what he's saying. We'll see once he comes to the Arrowhead."
While the game being switched to Germany may take out the fan factor of Arrowhead, there's no doubt the Chiefs players have been taking notice of Hill's comments and it will add to what promises to be a memorable first NFL regular season game in Frankfurt in November.
Already, the seven-time Pro Bowler has reportedly doubled down on his belief that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, not the Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, is the most accurate quarterback he’s ever played with. Albeit, Hill considers Mahomes like a brother to him.
The wide receiver has also admitted money was a motivating factor behind wanting to leave Kansas City. "[Christian Kirk] signed the deal [with the Jacksonville Jaguars], and like he surpassed me, and I'm like, bro, I compete on the field, and I also compete on the business out of this, too."
The wideout signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the Florida-based franchise. Hill continued: "So, I'm not going to let Christian Kirk have a higher contract than me. I'm not. I'm just not."
After being traded to the Dolphins, he got the desired higher contract. The five-time All-Pro selection signed a four-year, $120 million ($72.2 million guaranteed) extension, which makes him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league.
