North Melbourne star Jy Simpkin has slammed the "laughable" AFL match review process after teammate Paul Curtis failed to overturn a three-match suspension at the tribunal.

Curtis was charged with rough conduct and offered the ban after his tackle last Saturday left West Coast's Hamish Davis with concussion.
