Kamya Panjabi is not the one to spare trolls for their nasty comments on social media. Recently, the Shakti actress slammed a Twitter user publicly for mocking her second marriage.
On Feb 7, Kamya tweeted, "History will repeat." Even though her tweet had no context, the Twitter user wrote, "History will repeat because you'll take divorce from your second husband too? Divorcee got no chill."
It caught Kamya's attention and she gave it back to the user.
She wrote, "Aur kuch kehna hai aapko? Apni gandagi ki dukaan kahi aur le jaaiye, you guys don’t even know what I am talking about but you have to spread your dirt everywhere! Breathe, have some water n tell ur mother to teach u some manners!"
The Twitter user later deleted the tweet.
Kamya married businessman Bunty Negi in 2003. They divorced in 2013. She tied the knot with Delhi-based healthcare professional Shalabh Dang in February, 2020. They have completed three years of marital bliss.
However, Kamya continues to face criticism for getting married again.
This is not the first time that Kamya has replied angrily to such distasteful comments. In Dec 2021, she faced something similar and even talked to BT about online trolls.
She said, "These trolls have been there for a long time now; it’s not something new that we are facing. These people on social media talk about my daughter, my past marriage, divorce, and that I got married again... I ignore it most of the time, but sometimes you need to give it back."
Kamya added, "You have to make them realise how wrong they are to bring about some change."
