US presidential candidate Kamala Harris held a star-studded event with Oprah Winfrey on Thursday in a bid to persuade voters in the crucial swing state of Michigan.

Hollywood stars Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Chris Rock, and Ben Stiller joined a live discussion between the pair via video chat, as Oprah quizzed Harris about her sudden transformation after Biden endorsed her to take over the presidential campaign.
