Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are back at it again this weekend at the FedEx St. Jude Championship from TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. It’s Scottie who is the overwhelming favorite to win, followed by Rory.
Scheffler is the only player with a price over 10% to win, sitting at 16% on Kalshi’s FedEx St. Jude Championship market. Rory is 10.6% behind at 5.4% overall and only 0.8% ahead of Xander Schauffele for the second-best price. Trading $10 profits $49 on Scheffler and $163.51 on McIlroy.

Is Scottie due?
In theory, yes, Scottie is due for a win, and it could happen this weekend. He’s been lights out since the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, finishing top-5 in five of seven tournaments, including a second-place finish at the 3M Open his last time out.
Now, Scottie gets some familiarity this week at TPC Southwind, where he’s played five times and improved his place in the standings each time. In 2022, he missed the cut, followed by a T31 finish in 2023, fourth place in 2024, and T3 last year.
Not Rory’s favorite course
This has got to be one of Rory McIlroy’s least favorite courses with a volatile history here. He’s played the course 11 times since 2010 in all of the St. Jude events. He has one missed cut and three finishes over 15th. He does have three top-5 finishes here, though in 2017, 2019, and 2023.
Coming into this one, Rory’s had some questionable finishes over his last three appearances. That includes a T32 finish in the U.S. Open, T7 at the Genesis Scottish Open, and T40 in the Open Championship.
Pulling ahead
It’s worth noting that since the market opened, Scottie has pulled ahead significantly. They came in separated by 5.7% before Scheffler jumped out to a 10.6% lead at the time of writing.
